Over the last five years at #linearA, we have observed a need for increased #data integration and planning #flexibility, reducing planning inefficiencies and excess project costs while increasing schedule reliability and confidence during the early design phases. In response to this need, we designed and developed a tool for use internally and have seen significant gains in #efficiency and #standardization within our practice. Now, we’re releasing our Toolkit for public use. Here’s a short video showing how we use our Data Products and Key Rooms Toolkit to #benchmark and forecast bed needs by service line (e.g., cardiology, oncology), unit type (e.g., med/surg, ICU), and bed level (e.g., universal, private). We use these tools and data to compare planning scenarios, sensitivity test strategic growth, and model operational changes. By quickly solving 85% of the #healthcare facility planning questions using standardized data and industry benchmarks, the Toolkit enables stakeholders to identify critical project drivers and coalesce around meaningful #solutions earlier in the project timeline.
