Build with Energy. Build with Integrity. Build with Lingo
About us
Lingo is a group of builders who appreciate the art of constructing unique spaces and structures. We thrive on distinct projects and have been fortunate to build award winning architecture on both the local and national stage. Our projects range from the unique 500 square foot interior remodels to tens of millions for whole block revitalization and development. Lingo does not adhere to specific project types, but desires to build professional and personal relationships with lifelong clients on projects of every scope. Lingo Construction was started in 1998 by Stan and Renee Lingo. Since that time, there has been great growth annually, as we currently manage over eighty plus employees. The Lingo team is a group of true builders and creative thinkers that are experienced project managers, designers, engineers, seasoned superintendents, carpenters, ironworkers and laborers. Through the integration of this diverse knowledge we are able to present the best approach for our owners.

For to us a child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. - Isaiah 9:6V The inspiration for our 15th tree is pulled from the spirit of electrical transformers and sheet good substrates. These materials are commonly used in construction, but not often seen or appreciated. We reflect on this year about all the new buildings coming online in need of power and quality interior finishes. The design shows the strength and versatility of medium-density fibreboard (MDF), which is made up of wood fibers, wax and a resin binder. Copper wire is used as a ductile, malleable chemical element. One-inch sheets of MDF were milled and shaped using local CNC resources, then fastened together to create a stable base and framework. The tree frames were then cleaned and sealed with clear matte lacquer protectant to preserve and protect soft fibers during handling and shipping, while maintaining the raw appearance of the MDF material. Lastly, approximately 36 linear feet of bare soft copper is hand-stretched and sequenced-wrapped to create the woven pattern. This year, 14 hands will have pulled almost 30,000 feet or five and a half miles of copper wire. #buildwithlingo

What a great groundbreaking event! We're excited to work on this historic building on the iconic Route 66. #buildwithlingo
Yesterday, we were thrilled to host the groundbreaking for the future Filling Station Visitors Center! Special guests, including Lt. Gov. Matt Pinnell, El Reno Mayor Steve Jensen, Rhys Martin, President of the Oklahoma Route 66 Association, Route 66 Commissioner Fred Mendoza, and El Reno City Council members joined us along with local dignitaries to celebrate this exciting milestone. Major renovations will take place in winter and spring 2025, but progress will begin soon with artist Chris Small restoring the iconic Route 66 mural. Thanks to a $1.2 million Route 66 grant, this project will revitalize the historic site and enhance El Reno’s presence along the Mother Road!
