📣 SLPs, we're hosting a FREE webinar on how our At-Home Trial program can simplify AAC for you and your clients! The At-Home Trial program is different from our traditional SLP-Led Trial program. It's a great option for SLPs who are limited by insurance visits or who have many goals to address. Here's how it works: 1️⃣ After you refer a client to Lingraphica’s At-Home Trial Program, we'll meet with them to ensure our AAC devices meet their needs. 2️⃣ We'll do the AAC training for you! We meet virtually with your client and their care partners for device orientation, customization, and hands-on practice. 3️⃣ After a few weeks of device practice and training, your client will return to you for an official AAC evaluation. You can decide if the device is appropriate for your client (and we’ll be here to answer any questions you have). If the device is a good fit, we’ll guide you through any necessary paperwork so your client can receive their new AAC device. By the way...we’re always looking for more SLPs who are accepting referrals for AAC evaluations, too! Some At-Home Trial participants self-refer to our program and need an SLP for Step #3. So, if you’d like more AAC clients on your caseload — this webinar will be perfect for you, too. You can earn 0.1 ASHA CEUs when you join us on November 19th at 2:00pm ET. Plus, you'll get an inside look at the latest updates to our Hub software. Ready to join the webinar and explore Lingraphica’s At-Home Trial program? 👉 Save your spot via the link below: https://lnkd.in/eHZ_NCJx

🤓 SLPs, let us know in the comments if you’ll be applying these research-backed concepts with your aphasia clients! Combining written, auditory, and text-highlighting input really can be a game changer for improving comprehension in people with aphasia and receptive language deficits (especially reading). Watch this full video to dig into the research with our Clinical Educator, Sara! Have more questions about this (or anything else AAC-related)? Our SLP Clinical Educators are here to provide answers — for free! 😍 ➡️ Visit the link below to schedule a device demo! https://loom.ly/dXp0d2U

🎤 A little louder for the SLPs in the back... Your clients with visual and/or cognitive-communication challenges can be successful with AAC — especially when we adapt the device to fit their unique needs (Brittlebank, Light, & Pope, 2024). Adapting an AAC device could mean: 💡 changing the number of apps visible at one time to reduce visual information 💡 adjusting the card arrangement to account for visual or attention deficits 💡 making the pictures or text larger so your client can see them better Plus, we can help you with accessories, mounts, and other features to further enhance AAC accessibility! These adaptations can make a huge difference in your client’s comfort and success with AAC. Let us know in the comments if you’ll be trying any of these device adjustments (or if you have any questions for us). And if you’d like to learn more about how our devices can help your clients with visual or cognitive-communication challenges. ➡️ Head to link below to set up a free device demo with our SLP Clinical Educators (you might even meet Angela from this video!). https://loom.ly/VnNSbIk
