AAC users have the right to vote — just like everyone else! 🇺🇸 In the spirit of National Voter Registration Day, we’re sharing 3 things you should know about AAC and voting in federal elections: 🗳️ You are legally entitled to an accessible voting place. You can use your AAC device at the polling location. You can also request help with reading or completing your ballot from a poll worker or bring a friend or family member to help you in the voting booth. 🗳️ In most states, you can vote by mail with an absentee ballot. Visit your Secretary of State website or CanIVote.org to learn more. 🗳️ Make sure your AAC device includes the vocabulary you’ll need on Election Day! Feel free to copy the ideas we shared in this video.
