Meet Danelle Nation 👋 Danelle is currently a Group Product Manager at LinkSquares, where she leads product development for LinkSquares' latest products. Learn all about Danelle below. ⬇ Q: What does a typical day consist of for you? A: My days can be pretty variable, but they revolve around conducting product discovery, product delivery, and go-to-market planning. On any given day, I’m usually meeting with engineering and design to stay aligned on work that’s in development. In addition, we may be getting ahead on the discovery work for problems we want to tackle next through customer or competitor research. If I’m prepping for a major release, I might be creating training materials for marketing or our revenue teams. Most days are pretty different, which is one aspect I love about product management. Q: What is your favorite memory at LinkSquares? A: I can’t say there is one in particular, but I always feel immense joy when the team and I land on the solution we are going to take forward to build. It’s usually at the tail end of diving deep into a particular problem space and contemplating many ideas. It’s so satisfying when we finally look around the table at the Zoom meeting and say, “Yep, this is it.” Q: What’s something that you’ve always wanted to try or learn? A: I’ve always wanted to try slow travel –living out of a suitcase to explore one destination or a handful over long stretches of time. Q: What do you like to do in your free time? A: My life has changed a lot since having my daughter in January. (What is free time?) Watching her reach new milestones, like giggling ➡ immediate dopamine. I also enjoy being active, ideally outdoors, reading, and cooking.
