Here’s a quick breakdown of how we approach them: 🌟 Objectives (the "O") are long-term and aligned with our mission & vision. They capture the essence of where we want to go as a company and stay consistent year over year. 🎯 Key Results (the "KR") are the measurable, quantifiable metrics that guide our priorities. This year, we focused on company-wide KRs, but in 2025, as a larger company, we’ll take it further by introducing functional and individual KRs. This ensures every level of the company has clear success markers to keep us focused, hold ourselves accountable, and celebrate when we achieve a target. OKRs help us align our vision with daily execution, making sure every person knows how their work accrues to company goals and how each resource and effort moves us closer to our goals.     We recently combed through the 2024 McKinsey & Company Women in the Workplace report, conducted with Lean In. As the largest study on women in corporate America, this tenth-anniversary report examines a decade of data to track progress, decline, and stagnation in women’s workplace representation, along with key 2024 insights. We wish we had better news. While some progress has been made -women in the #CSuite have risen from 17% in 2015 to 29% today, flexibility has become a norm in most companies, and support for employees with caregiving responsibilities has improved - the path forward remains difficult. Women continue to be underrepresented across industries and organizations. 🤝 The report found that for every 100 men who received their first opportunity to be a manager, only 81 women got the same offer. 🙋🏿♀️🙋🏻♀️ 🙋🏽♀️ Overall, corporate commitment to #gender and racial #diversity is declining - 78% of companies examined said gender diversity is a high priority, down from 87% in 2019. ⬇️ The number of companies with programs that foster the hiring of women has declined. That is especially the case for women of color. Only 18% of companies now offer recruiting programs focused on them, and 8% offer internship programs, down from 30% and 14%, respectively, in 2022. ⏳ The report reveals just how far we are from #genderequality. At this pace, the report estimates it will take women of color 48 years to achieve equality in corporate America, while white women could reach it in 22 years. 🦁 At Lions & Tigers, it is our mission to co-design a more human and valued work experience advancing impact, access & belonging. We are deeply committed to closing the gap and supporting women as they navigate their careers. Over the past decade, women have remained ambitious and committed to their jobs.
