Today is a super proud day for us as we officially launched our brand new Apprentice Academy! ✨ Our Head of Training & Audit, Angelene, held our very first Apprentice Academy training session earlier today, which gives our new apprentices all of the practical skills and knowledge they need to be able to succeed as an Early Years Practitioner. The Apprentice Academy is broken down into 3 stages which are Bronze, Silver and Gold. A workbook is provided for each stage of their personal development journey which includes lots of space for note taking alongside invaluable information to help them along the way! Today we covered Functional Skills, Care Routines, Safeguarding, Health and Safety and an Introduction to the Early Years Foundation Stage! It was a really positive day which brought our apprentices out of their day to day nursery setting so they could share experiences with others on a similar journey. As part of the Apprenticeship Academy, here at at Little Adventures Nurseries we are fully committed to supporting students throughout their studies by providing on-the-job training and off-site study days. We want all of our apprentices to be confident in their work, as well as knowledgeable about all aspects of providing essential care to children.
