Eat Local & Fight Hunger This Weekend! Central Arkansas Restaurant Weeks are happening now through September 20th, and it’s the perfect reason to enjoy a meal out this weekend! Over 80 local restaurants have created special menus and promotions just for this event, and a portion of the proceeds will go directly to the Arkansas Foodbank in the fight against hunger. By ordering the featured menu item, you’ll not only support local businesses, but you’ll also help provide meals to those in need. Roughly 1 in 6 Arkansans are facing food insecurity, but your meal can make a difference. For every $1 donated to the Arkansas Foodbank, 5 meals are provided to those in need. Just $5 can provide 25 meals!
