  • Welcome to #OfficeHours live from Rio, Brazil! This week, Coach Amanda Cromwell is taking inspiration from footvalley. You don’t have to be perfect or know it all to start! Apply this to your work to get into a flow state. It takes 15 minutes just to get into flow, once you get past the initial “pain” that’s when the great work happens! The first 5 minutes of a run can be the hardest, but that shouldn’t stop you from going on the run. Same concept applies to your work.

We've partnered with the American Board of Emergency Medicine in a first-of-its-kind program that's designed to drive impactful change, shift culture, and support personalized growth. Coach Karmen and I had the pleasure of spending a few days at their headquarters in Michigan last week—working with their staff, senior, and executive teams in specialized training sessions. ABEM is renowned for ensuring the highest standards in all that they do—both externally and internally. By combining various offerings such as individual coaching, training sessions, and assessments, we are able to provide an ultra-personalized approach, that definitely fits the ABEM gold standard! Excited to continue to innovate, grow, and learn with them as our partnership continues. #ClientSpotlight

  • Today’s #TuesdayTip is brought to you by Fear! Growth happens when we face what scares us—whether it's asking for a promotion, seeking a raise, or taking on more responsibilities. Yes, it’s intimidating, but these challenges push us to grow and build confidence. Failure is always a possibility, but it's also a sign that we're taking risks and moving forward. It reminds us that we’re alive and striving for something bigger.  So, why risk failure? Because staying in our comfort zone only leads to complacency, which ultimately makes us feel stuck and insecure. Growth requires discomfort, and it's through facing our fears that we unlock our potential. Take a moment to reflect on your personal and professional life. Identify where you're feeling unsatisfied, and start taking steps toward making the change. Your future self will thank you! #DoThingsThatScareYou

  • So cool to see our story in print! We are proud to be a part of Long Island Business News's tradition of recognizing women leaders and entrepreneurs on Long Island, as seen in their "In the Lead: Women-Owned Businesses" special section. Our mission has always been to empower individuals and organizations to unlock their fullest potential through leadership development. Combining our mission with my passion for sports, I'm so excited about our newly-launched Sports Division and to continue empowering women, starting at the collegiate level. The impactful work we do with women's sports teams not only help them grow as an athlete (and win games!!!) but will stay with them post-college as they start their careers. Even more fun to be working on this with my former teammate Amanda Cromwell

  • Today's #TuesdayTip from East Lansing, Michigan! As we continue our Fall Full Court Press, we're going to tackle a topic most people don't enjoy—weaknesses! Our weaknesses surface most when we are experiencing low confidence, feeling insecure, or something is off. When strengths go south—it's usually because something else is going wrong and making us feel uncertain. Detail-Oriented --> Mico-Manager  Outgoing --> Talks Too Much  Direct --> Blunt  Supportive --> Victimized Don't be afraid of looking at the truth. Having the self-awareness and being able to identify this happening so you can fix it is necessary to move yourself forward. Keep your strengths (and weaknesses) in check!

  • Building trust is essential for fostering strong, lasting relationships in both personal and professional settings. Steven Covey, Author of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, breaks down trust into two pillars: competence and character. Competence, the ability to deliver results and demonstrate capability, is crucial in building trust, particularly in professional environments. However, Covey emphasizes that character—defined by genuine intent and integrity—is equally important. When competence and character are in balance, trust is solidified, forming the foundation for meaningful and sustainable relationships. Check out #TuesdayTip tomorrow as we dive deeper in how to achieve this equal balance of competence and character.
