lllinois SBDC at Build Bronzeville

Illinois Small Business Development Centers are located throughout the state and provide information, confidential business guidance, training and other resources to start-up and existing small businesses. The Illinois SBDC is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO). The Illinois SBDC at Build Bronzeville is one of the newest SBDCs in Illinois, with doors formally opening in the second quarter of 2020. Our SBDC is housed at The Bronzeville Incubator and is a part of our commitment to revitalizing the historic Bronzeville community through commerce. This commitment also includes the Boxville shipping container market, the Bronzeville Cookin’ culinary initiative, and rehabilitation of the historic Forum complex. While we serve all small businesses, we bring particular value to South Side enterprises in the Food & Beverage and Creative Economy sectors who are ready to move into a commercial space.
