Anyone working with AI, including us at LogicMark, is familiar with the issue of AI "hallucinations," where AI generates information that isn't true. Today, Microsoft introduced a new service called Corrections, which aims to automatically fix AI-generated text that contains factual errors. Earlier this summer, Google rolled out a similar feature in its Vertex AI platform, allowing customers to "ground" their models using data from trusted sources, their own information, or Google Search.
At LogicMark, we’ve also been focused on tackling the challenge of AI hallucinations, especially since we're developing AI and machine learning technology to transform the personal safety and health communication space. As a human-centric CEO, this is an exciting development for our company in that AI is not just about machines but about putting the human (our customer) at the center of what we do.
LogicMark is developing new systems and, have filed patent, that use real-world physics to help control AI, including large language models (LLMs) and other machine learning technologies, so they don't make mistakes or "hallucinate." This is especially important when using AI in areas like care, safety, and wellness, where errors could seriously impact the well-being of the person being monitored.
In systems designed to support someone’s care, wellness, or safety, it’s crucial that the AI operates safely. Unlike AI that might generate fake images or give incorrect answers, LogicMark has created a unique method using real-world physics to ensure the AI provides accurate information. This approach helps deliver better care and safety monitoring for those using our systems.
By incorporating physics and mechanics into our AI systems, we make sure they function in a way that reflects the real-world conditions of the person being monitored. Our technology can be applied in various situations, from home care to post-surgery recovery, campus safety, and other health and wellness settings. This is part of our commitment to using AI responsibly and ensuring it remains focused on the individual’s needs.
