This UN World Logic Day, I had the privilege of engaging in an insightful conversation with Amy-Willard Cross from Gender Fair: A Public Benefit Corporation and Ashley Bouder Principal Dancer at New York City Ballet—two extraordinary women who are making a real impact in their fields. From advancing gender equity in business to using the arts as a platform for advocacy, our discussion underscored the power of logic, reason, and action in shaping a more just and equitable world. (Videos linked below) In addition to that honor, I am deeply grateful to be among the 2025 Logic for Peace Award Winners, recognized by Logictry and Logic Families as part of the inaugural Logic Circle at the United Nations Delegates. The mission of the Logic Circle—to unite experts, next-gen leaders, and family grantmakers in fostering constructive dialogue and informed decision-making—is a cause that deeply resonates with me. At a time when rhetoric often takes precedence over reason, the vision of advancing informal logic, democratizing access to critical thinking, and fostering a peaceful global culture of reason and action feels more important than ever. I am incredibly inspired by the work being done by my fellow honorees and look forward to continuing this journey of driving impact through logic and leadership.
