Celebrating 35 Years of Service: Congratulations, Gary Otto! While we don’t typically use this page to announce employee anniversaries, this one had to be shared—Gary Otto has reached a monumental milestone by completing 35 years of service with Lone Star Transportation! Gary is the first person in our history to achieve this incredible accomplishment, and we couldn’t be prouder. Gary started with Lone Star on January 2, 1990, as a Dispatcher at our Gainesville location. Throughout the years, he’s held key positions, including Company Equipment Coordinator, Key Accounts Manager, and currently, Company Equipment Manager. His expertise, dedication, and support for some of our largest customers have made a lasting impact on our company. Gary’s passion, dependability, and deep knowledge of our business have been critical in shaping Lone Star into the company it is today. As Gary humbly shared: "I’ve been very fortunate to work with some extremely talented individuals that were not afraid to work hard or share their vision of what we could become if we set our minds to it.
