Every flag tells a story of hope. At UCI Health – Los Alamitos, we're proud to celebrate the incredible impact of organ donation by raising a OneLegacy flag. Together with OneLegacy, we recognize the selflessness of donors and the courage of their families. Over the past year and a half at UCI Health – Los Alamitos, eleven lives have been saved through organ donation, 975 lives have been healed through tissue donation, and twenty people have had their sight restored through cornea donation. One organ donor can save up to eight lives through organ donation and enhance the lives of over seventy-five people through tissue donation.

Alexandra Martin-Senecal, RN from the ICU and James Aguinaldo, RN from Medical 2 were recognized for their dedication were individually nominated by patient families for their kind and compassionate caregiving.
