About us
Founded in New Mexico in 1975, Los Alamos Technical Associates provides technical and project management services to a varied clientèle including federal agencies, state governments, municipalities, and a broad range of private sector industrial clients. In the 1970s, the company’s core business focused on the design, installation and operation of highly specialized systems and processes for Special Nuclear Materials handling. LATA then expanded throughout the 1980s into communication systems design and test for defense applications, and in the early 1990s into the environmental services arena, performing some of the most challenging Superfund site remediation efforts in the country as well as some of the most challenging site and facility closure projects in the nation’s Nuclear Weapons Complex.

Our cleanup crews have accomplished remarkable achievements at the East Tennessee Technology Park. Watch to see their achievements over the past 20 years! They became the first workers in the world to complete the removal of a former uranium enrichment complex, and their work has transformed the site into a private industrial park for new businesses.

LATA participated in two charity golf tournaments this past weekend in Amarillo, TX. ⛳ The first, 71 teams played in the Phillips 66 Panhandle Classic Golf! A 108-degree day didn't stop us from enjoying a morning of golf. The tournament benefitted the 100 Club of the Texas Panhandle and was presented a check for $80,000! These funds will go a long way in making a difference for area firefighters and law enforcement officers in the top 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle! 🏌♂️ The second tournament, was the 9th annual Scarth Scramble for Heal the City. Heal the City provides free quality medical care and referral services with dignity and compassion to the uninsured of our community. #Community #Service #GiveBack #AmarilloTX
