Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles is thrilled to announce that civil rights leaders Mia Yamamoto and Pete White will join our anniversary celebration as keynote speakers! We are fortunate to call both of these amazing advocates our close partners and friends, and we’re so proud to host them for this special event.
Mia Yamamoto is a trailblazing civil rights activist recognized for her advocacy on behalf of transgender and AAPI communities, and for making history as the first openly transgender trial lawyer in California.
Pete White is founder and co-executive director of Los Angeles Community Action Network, a grassroots organization working to uphold the human right to housing, health and security in Los Angeles.
It’s our 95th year fighting for justice—and we want to celebrate with you! RSVP now to join our community celebration at https://lnkd.in/ge3NwxSV.
