Operational Security Leader | Retail Violence Reduction Expert | Passionate about Partnerships and Collaboration| Retail Risk Hall of Fame Winner 2023
Safely back home from an amazing week in the US with the global security team for our M&C business. This is the first time we’ve been together F2F ever and, as a newly formed team, that investment of time together was critical. Highlights of the week include seeing the site operations of our US business, especially the truck stop business - like, 🤯 at the scale of those sites and the breadth of the businesses. Then the amazing leadership showing by our leaders running both the Travel Centre Americas and Thorntons’ sites - just brilliant. Onto the Clarity 4D profile sessions with the whole team, examining who we are, how we prefer to operate and how we operate as such a diverse team. Insightful, interesting and so much to come back to for all of us. And then onto Gainesville, with the Loss Prevention Research Council (LPRC) and our partners Auror . So much conversation driven by what we saw, the shared problem statements and solutionising together… such power and creativity. I’m really humbled by the talent in our team, and the potential we have for the future. We’ve the potential to make such a profound difference for our frontline teams in our M&C business, so that they can continue delivering the brilliant level of customer service and genuine care that they show every day. And a massive thanks to the boss (Karen Warwick!) for organising such a brilliant week of amazing content, learning and team building time. You are such an inspiration and it’s a true pleasure to work for you. We’ve proven this week we’ve some amazing power together - let’s harness it and smash it together!! #collaboration #opportunity #forming #retailsecurity
