September is Attendance Awareness Month. We appreciate Governor Jeff Landry for signing a proclamation recognizing the month in Louisiana and for his student-first leadership. Regular school attendance should be prioritized, promoted, and reinforced across all communities, ensuring all students are equipped to grow, achieve, and thrive.
