Earlier this week, Monnik Beer Company had the great opportunity to brew a beer with Straßenbrau in Berlin, Germany. Of course, they felt it only appropriate to brew a Kentucky Common, but with the wonderful twist of using German ingredients. The beer consists of Weyermann Pilsner, Munich, Caramunich, and roasted malts with German flaked mais, and has a single hop addition of hallertau mittelfruh. Monnik sends out a special thanks to Timo and Seba for hosting them!
