The Launch event of LCBA Canada Phase II, on Thursday 12 September, will showcase best practices and success stories in this field while paving the ground for companies, public and private donors, financial institutions, and EU innovators for further collaboration on Phase II of the project (2024-2028)! The event will include a dedicated session to award successful legally binding contracts between EU sellers and Canadian buyers. One of them is Finrenes Oy, a Finnish company specializing in sustainable technology, who completed the sale of its innovative biomass processing technology to the Canadian Ekstera. The patented technology developed by Finrenes converts biomass into biogas and brown pellets, which can be used as a replacement for coal in power generation.
