  • “My schedule has a lot on it, but when I'm going to be in a store with associates, those are always the days I circle.” Chairman & CEO Marvin Ellison recently stopped by Store 1725 in Austin, Texas, to meet with associates. “These times are the most beneficial for me,” he told them. “I learn a lot. And I get a chance to meet the people doing the real work. You all make the difference.” #LowesLife

  • “One of the most impactful moments of my career was when one of my leaders told me that they saw me as a “role model”. It was a recognition that made me appreciate the ups and downs in my life to now have the opportunity to positively impact those around me. When I look back on my journey, I remember times when I did not believe in myself as I faced new beginnings and challenges. I would allow my fears to dictate my path instead of confronting them head on. I learned through those experiences that the people around me who believed in me were the people who gave me the inspiration to keep growing, pushing, and ultimately realize my potential. The impact those leaders had on me is why I am passionate about being a mentor and friend in any way that I can be. I want those around me to feel valued and supported the way my leaders did for me. I know how much that can change someone’s life.” – Viviana V., Scheduling Staffing Admin #LowesLife

  • "Being a store manager in retail is special because your store is a place where associates and customers come together from all walks of life under one roof. Each day you show up you must realize that you never know what someone is going through when they walk in your store. The special thing about it all is that we collectively have the chance to brighten a coworker or customers day each time we show up and put on our vests. It is powerful to know that I set the tone as a leader for our team to take advantage of that opportunity. That is why it is so special when we get the chance to have our full team together in the store for our Spring kick-off meeting. It is a time when we come together to learn, connect, and be reminded of the opportunity we have each day we show up to the store." - Haley M., Store Manager 🛠️💙 #LowesLife

  • "In 2021, I was in a near fatal accident doing work on my home when I fell onto a saw blade that went into my head just above my left eye. Miraculously, I survived and did not lose my eye or my eyesight. What I gained however was a new perspective on life. From that day, I have lived my life giving 100% of my energy and effort to whatever is in front of me. Interestingly enough, 2021 was also the first year that I was up for Manager of the Year. Although I came up short that year, I knew it was just another opportunity to view things from a new perspective and give more of myself to the things I wanted to accomplish. Last month was a full circle moment as I was named the 2025 Manager of the Year (MOTY). Receiving the award was a feeling that is hard to explain as I reflect on my journey. I have learned that setbacks are a part of life, it’s the way you chose to react to them that will impact your future." - Corrie G., Store Manager #LowesLife 🛠️

  • "My father was a known artist in our hometown in the Philippines when I was growing up. I still remember the pain of losing him when I was 11, but I also draw strength from the short time we spent together as it has inspired me to make my own path and pay tribute to him in everything I do. I view my art as a chance to express myself, positively impact those around me, and continue my dad’s legacy. His inspiration has helped me through my journey before moving to the U.S. Over the past 7 years, I have worked my way to becoming the SSA which was a challenge at first, but it was all worthwhile. Painting and being creative gives me the chance to honor my dad by converting anything into something positive for others to enjoy, and it is that mindset that has allowed me to get where I am today." - Arvee H., Scheduling Staffing Admin #LowesLife
