This ordinance temporarily suspends all comprehensive plan text and map amendments, rezonings, and special exceptions, but provides a window of time between October 29, 2024, and December 11, 2024, to submit small-scale comprehensive plan amendments, rezonings, and special exceptions. The deadline to request a pre-application meeting for comprehensive plan amendments is November 14, 2024.

Lowndes #attorneys were honored to attend the 150th Anniversary celebration of Dr. Phillips Charities at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, featuring a performance by Rob Thomas. On October 17, Dr. Phillips Charities commemorated Dr. Phillips' 150th birthday by awarding $1.5 million in grants to local nonprofits in Orange and Osceola counties. The event, which included a reception and concert for community leaders, first responders, and local organizations, saw over 40 nonprofits receive funding.
