We're committed to supporting Indigenous students at Vancouver Island University (VIU) by funding their participation in the Indigenous Peoples in Trades Training Program and the Women in Trades Training Program. Since 2022, our partnership with VIU has helped cover tuition, books, tools, and other essentials. Both programs focus on construction and mechanical trades, addressing labor shortages and providing crucial support to Indigenous students, especially those facing personal hardships. #LPCares

LP Tomahawk recently donated safety gloves to help local high school student Trey in his journey to earn his Eagle Scout rank from the Boy Scouts of America. Trey's Eagle Scout project focused on revitalizing the landscape around the Tomahawk Veterans of Foreign Wars facility. Under his leadership, volunteers painted displays, reseeded the lawn, and planted flowers.
