About us
LPKF Laser & Electronics North America specializes in the sales, distribution, and service of laser-based fabrication and process solutions for demanding tasks in printed circuit board technologies and microelectronics. We are a subsidiary of LPKF Laser & Electronics AG which was established in 1976, and has Global Headquarters in Garbsen, Germany – a quaint industrial town near Hanover. The company is active in the areas of electronics, motion & control, laser plastics welding and photovoltaics. Although LPKF focuses on prototyping and micromachining solutions for circuit carriers, it also tailors leading edge systems for precision drives, plastics joining, solar cell technology and measurement solutions. Fun Fact: LPKF stands for "Leiterplatten-Kopierfräsen", which when translated means "circuit board copy milling".
