Recent hateful rhetoric from former President Trump, who claimed immigrants are “poisoning the blood of our country,” demands our urgent response. At the Trump rally on October 27, offensive remarks were made, including that Latinos “loved making babies” and Puerto Rico is a “floating island of garbage.” Such comments dehumanize our community and perpetuate harmful stereotypes that threaten our dignity and safety. At LULAC, we stand firmly against all forms of hate speech. We urge everyone to denounce this divisive rhetoric and support our Latino and immigrant communities by signing our petition. ✊ Racism is NOT Comedy! ✊ https://lnkd.in/eXWFJezn #StandAgainstHate #LULAC #Unity #Respect #LatinoVoices

Cuando la exmecánica del ejército de EE. UU. #GoodJobs bit.ly/3YbflCc

🌍✨ This Indigenous Peoples' Day, we confront the irony that many Latinos, who are often vilified in anti-immigrant rhetoric, share deep-rooted connections to Indigenous cultures. On October 14, we honor the rich histories and contributions of Indigenous communities across the U.S., while recognizing the resilience of those who face unjust stigmatization. As we celebrate, let's acknowledge the strength found in our blend of Indigenous, Black, and white cultures. Together, we must stand against division and uplift one another, embracing the vibrant tapestry that defines us. 💪❤️ #IndigenousPeoplesDay #Unity #CulturalDiversity #LatinoHeritage
