We are looking forward to hearing SSM Health's Chief Pharmacy Officer Kim Spencer, PharmD, MHA speak about pharmacy's role in value-based care on November 14 at Becker's Healthcare Chief Pharmacy Officer Summit in Chicago. As majority owner of our parent company Navitus Health Solutions, SSM Health created Lumicera 10 years ago to address the growing needs of patients who require specialty pharmacy medications. If you're attending, we hope you'll join us! #BeckersPharmacySummit

Dedicated to improving specialty pharmacy care-one patient at a time-through clinical, financial and service excellence.
About us
Lumicera Health Services is defining the “new norm” in specialty pharmacy to optimize patient well-being. We are dedicated to improving specialty pharmacy care, one patient at a time, through educational, clinical, financial and service excellence. As a testament to our commitment to quality and continuous improvement, we achieved URAC specialty pharmacy accreditation within the first year of opening. Consistent with our tagline—Care.Illuminated.—we illuminate patient care to ensure every patient receives the personalized and compassionate support they need to manage their complex conditions and prescribed medications. Lumicera clinical experts tailor the patient guidance, outcome goals and follow-up plans to each patient and their prescribed treatment. Thorough education on the importance of adherence, proactive refill reminders, and proper medication use, including injection teaching, helps to ensure safe, effective and timely administration. Our fully integrated care model helps to improve health outcomes by bringing Lumicera clinicians closer to patients, providers, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and payers. Connecting patients to the best possible resources, such as advocacy groups, and becoming trusted advisors for the patient and their providers ensures optimal and successful care. We offer providers and payers convenient, toll-free access to support services, including assistance with the prior authorization process. Also, Lumicera works with pharmaceutical manufacturers to monitor adverse events and for support on effective management of specialty medications to ensure the safe and proper use of these therapies. Lumicera Health Services is a division of Navitus Health Solutions, a nationally recognized provider of pharmacy benefit management (PBM) services.

For the past few months, we've been producing a monthly video series titled "Focus On Our Pharmacists." Each episode shines a spotlight on one of our incredible pharmacists sharing their personal story. On this final day of National Pharmacist Month, we invite you to watch and enjoy their stories once again (or discover them for the very first time) to celebrate their achievements, gain insight into their journeys and witness the deep care they have for their patients. https://lnkd.in/g52ckRhs

It’s October and this month’s Focus On Our Pharmacists is Jonathan Greaves. Jonathan got his start with Lumicera in our PGY-1 Residency Program and has now moved into our PGY-2 Residency Program where he is our Administrative and Leadership Resident, learning more about the business side of the industry. Our favorite part of his video is when he talks about how much he enjoys interacting with his patients. His smile says it all! https://lnkd.in/g52ckRhs

A well-deserved honor for someone who made quite an impact internally and externally. Congratulations, Brent!
Today, we celebrate our former Chief Pharmacy Officer, Brent Eberle, and his incredible 20+ year journey at Navitus. As one of our first five employees, Brent helped build Navitus from the ground up, from our very first member to 14+ million members across the nation. In honor of his lasting impact on our organization and decades of incredible service to our industry, we’ve established a scholarship in Brent’s name at his alma mater, the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy. This scholarship honors Brent’s exceptional leadership and his contributions to the pharmaceutical field, and it ensures his work with the school and its students will be recognized for years to come. As he transitions to his new role as President of CivicaScript, we all look forward to the amazing things he’ll accomplish next. Please join us in wishing Brent the best of luck.
