The company has just unveiled that multidisciplinary artist Ephraim Anderson, known professionally as Zefren-M, is its latest creative collaborator. Working through its Artist in Residence program, launched last year, the Navajo Nation member will produce a clothing capsule under Ralph Lauren's Double RL subbrand that hits select stores beginning on Nov. 7, 2024; a portion of the sales proceeds will benefit nonprofit The Lyndon Foundation Corp, which supports Native American creatives. The pending merger of two major U.S. luxury groups hit a roadblock last week. The U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has found success in its fight to stop Tapestry, owner of leather goods maker Coach, fashion label kate spade new york and footwear brand Stuart Weitzman, from purchasing multinational company Capri Holdings Limited. Following years of ups and downs in the global art market, sales seem to be normalizing once again, according to a new report. Compiled in the Art Basel and UBS Survey of Global Collecting 2024, research shows that H1 2024 median expenditures on art among HNWIs amounted to $25,555, nearly half of 2023’s full-year figures. Germany’s BMW Group is being recognized for its manufacturing expertise.
