    ▪ Project Reveal | Gorilla Forest Camp ▪ We’re excited to share the first look at our design for the reimagined Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp for Abercrombie & Kent. The project, soon to be known as Gorilla Forest Lodge, is located in Uganda’s breathtaking Bwindi Impenetrable Forest — famous for its gorilla trekking. Inspired by the rainforest, our design allows guests to fully immerse themselves in nature, creating a deep connection to the unique local environment. Through the interpretation of contextual fauna, flora, and culture, the interiors celebrate the character of the local region. Our architecture, interior design, and project management team is currently in Uganda, collaborating closely with local artisans and suppliers and getting ready for construction to start soon. Stay tuned for more updates as this journey unfolds! Abercrombie & Kent Sanctuary Retreats

    ▪ Building Green Podcast ▪ Graeme Labe, our Managing Partner & Chief Design Officer, recently joined Ladina Schöpf on her Building Green podcast to discuss sustainability—a topic close to his heart. In this episode, Graeme reflects on his remarkable journey, from living in his Land Rover in Botswana to leading our design studio of over 60 talented individuals. He explores how luxury and sustainability, often seen as opposites, can come together and how we've redefined luxury in the immersive hospitality industry. Plus, hear the fascinating story of designing a lodge so remote that materials had to be transported by donkeys! Listen to the full episode - https://lnkd.in/dP4q7X5F Thank you for featuring Graeme on your podcast, Ladina!
