Congratulations to Cx Therapeutics, Inc. on receiving a $2.35 million Phase II SBIR grant from the The National Institutes of Health! They are developing a novel medical device specifically designed to treat a pregnancy complication called cervical insufficiency. Patients with cervical insufficiency experience preterm birth, which can lead to long-term complications for the newborn. Their medical device aims to improve support for the cervix, delaying preterm birth and improving outcomes for these vulnerable infants. Fantastic news on this important step forward!
