Project Update: Shelby Co. Resurfacing   This project includes cleaning and preparation of two roadways in Shelby County. Following clean and prep, a tack coat was applied to adhere the new asphalt to the existing roadway. Once the tack coat has been applied and allowed to cure, MAC crew members installed a fresh layer of surface hot mix asphalt (HMA).   After completion, the new overlay provides a rejuvenated, even surface that extends the life of the roadway as well as improving ride quality and structural integrity.

MAC recently had the opportunity to support our local community through a donation of $28,485 to the Home of the Innocents. Through this donation Home of the Innocents reported back they were able to restock their warehouse with needed items from their Wish List, and their Parent Education Program was able to provide needed items such as class facilitation, books, supplies, meals, and childcare for the participants.   We are eager to watch the Home of the Innocents, and their programs thrive. We know they are and will continue to make a positive impact in the lives of those they serve. We are honored to have been a part of supporting them in doing so.   To learn more about the Home of the Innocents and their purpose, visit: https://lnkd.in/dj3f2Hgj
