Remember I recorded a TikTok for Maclean's magazine? It’s live. Green screen for the win. I love to see how they’ve edited it and added in some of my social media and previously unseen photos by Duane Cole. Thanks to Rosemary Counter for the article and Sarah Vermunt for the intro:)

Pleased to share an article I wrote for Maclean's magazine, "Tourism at the End of the World", which was recently published online and in print. This article grapples with the ethics of visiting "disappearing destinations" in Canada and shares some of the challenges that colleagues Jackie Dawson (University of Ottawa), Mark Groulx (University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC)), Wilfrid Laurier University PhD student Brooklyn Rushton and I have experienced conducting research and teaching field courses at such sites over the past decade.
