Macmillan Learning was excited to participate in the Holtzbrinck Publishing Group's first global hackathon. 🚀 Over three days, our teams built or reinvented 21 new projects to support learning, however and wherever it takes place. We believe that great ideas can come from anywhere, and this competition is just one of the ways we're innovating with AI and creating interactive educational experiences that inspire what's possible for every learner.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻! 🚀🌍 Last month, 280+ creative minds from across our group participated in our first Global AI Hackathon, pushing boundaries and reinventing products with cutting-edge solutions. The event showcased interdisciplinary collaboration, technological innovation, and global teamwork. Over 50 teams from Digital Science, Springer Nature, Macmillan Learning, ZEIT Verlagsgruppe, Macmillan, Pan Macmillan, and CHAPTR gathered in hubs across Berlin, Hamburg, Pune, New York, London, and Austin. Together, they explored innovative applications in AI, data management & automation, and natural language processing. 💡💬 This was an incredible opportunity to unite diverse perspectives and foster cross-border innovation. The judging process is now underway, and we are excited to soon recognize and celebrate the most outstanding ideas. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in this fantastic event! Let’s continue pushing the boundaries of creativity and collaboration. Stay tuned for more innovations and exciting outcomes! ✨ #Hackathon #Innovation #AI #Teamwork #Collaboration #Creativity #OurAIJourney
