This past week, our team attended the Community Mental Health Association of Michigan’s 24th Annual Wraparound Conference. During the conference, our staff attended ten workshops to learn more about Wraparound fidelity, policies and procedures, state changes, community partners, and other mental health and services topics. Each Wraparound team was asked to create a team flag and mission statement inspired by the conference’s Olympic theme of “Reach for the Gold.” Both our flag and mission statement emphasize our commitment to putting people first to best support youth mental health. We look forward to attending next year’s event! #MentalHealth #CMH #Conference #Wraparound

Macomb County Community Mental Health reposted this
Last week, CHN’s Housing Programs team attended a Mental Health First Aid training session conducted by CHN’s partner Macomb County Community Mental Health. The course taught attendees how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. Skills were learned to help our team reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem, or experiencing a crisis. 👏
