Exciting News from Kwik Trip, Inc.! 🚚 Last week, we had the pleasure of attending the groundbreaking ceremony for Kwik Trip's new 280,000-square-foot distribution center in the Village of DeForest. This marks a significant milestone for the La Crosse-based company as it expands its operations to better serve its growing customer base. Key Highlights: Location: DeForest, south of State Highway 19 Size: 280,000 square feet Service Area: 350 Kwik Trip stores Facilities: Freezer, four air-conditioned rooms, cooler, dry goods storage, truck wash, truck maintenance facility, on-site health clinic Employment: Expected to employ 400 people Completion: Targeted for 2025 Why It Matters: Reducing Distribution Costs: The new center will alleviate pressure on the current La Crosse distribution center, helping to lower costs for consumers. Operational Efficiency: This new facility will enhance Kwik Trip's ability to serve the south and southeastern parts of its territory and support further westward expansion.
