Fatty liver disease can progress to MASH – a more serious disease – if not properly addressed. Ever wonder what liver disease progression looks like? Our team has created liver models to help patients and healthcare providers understand the different stages of liver disease and showcase the risks of liver disease if left unmanaged. Together, we are building a company where our team members can grow and our work can drive meaningful change in the lives of patients and their families. Thank you for your leadership, Clint Wallace, and for guiding us through a time of exciting growth and transformation!
As I reflect on my first anniversary as Chief Human Resources Officer, I am energized by the possibilities that the future holds for Madrigal Pharmaceuticals and the #NASH / #MASH community. Throughout my first year, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside a team of passionate and talented colleagues who are committed to improving care for patients with MASH. One of my proudest achievements this year was the creation and launch of our purpose, values and behaviors framework, along with our continuous feedback approach. This forms the basis of a patient-focused culture, where every employee embraces an owner mindset, in collaboration with each other, and innovates for patients - empowering employees to reach their full potential. Together, we are building a company where people thrive, and our collective efforts drive meaningful change in the lives of patients and communities. Here’s to continued growth, innovation, and impact in the years to come! #LifeatMadrigal #WorkAnniversary

While wildfires continued to impact parts of Southern California, colleagues from our Sales and Thought Leader Liaison teams quickly jumped in to help. Jennifer La France, Donna Sole, Stacey Deaton Polo, Priscilla Razi and their family members volunteered to serve meals to ~900 first responders. Way to go, team! #LifeatMadrigal

Meet Sandra Young, DNP, a Clinical Practice Liaison on our Field Medical Affairs team, pictured here with Godfrey, one of the healthcare providers she served with to help the team train 20 community health providers during a recent medical mission trip to Kenya. Sandra and the other volunteers provided essential medical care to more than 700 people in the communities of Mutirithia and Nanyuki. As we approach Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we are reminded of Dr. King’s legacy and message of justice, equality, and service to others. Madrigal will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20 in observance of MLK Day, and we encourage our team members to take this opportunity to give back to their communities and beyond, as Sandra did. Whether it’s volunteering at a soup kitchen, coaching your son or daughter’s sports team, or shoveling a neighbor’s walkway, all contributions make a difference. #LifeatMadrigal

Our employees in the Conshohocken office came together to spread some holiday joy through a partnership with Life Science Cares Philadelphia. Their generosity fulfilled the wish lists of 20 local foster children. Thank you for helping lead this effort, Mary Shane. From all of us at Madrigal, Happy Holidays!
