One week from today, we tackle the issue of urban canopy cover with Let's Grow Local as we plant 200+ trees in Avondale along with our partners from: Cincinnati Parks & Cincinnati Parks Foundation, Groundwork Ohio River Valley, Duke Energy Corporation Foundation, MANE, Payload, Upstream 360, and Sysco! Trees are in our name and in our nature. Planting trees enhances air quality, helps avoid stormwater runoff, and reduces energy usage. They also help reduce heat in urban areas. MadTree has been on a mission to add a lot of trees and keep Cincinnati cool. That’s why we’ve been planting and donating trees like mad over the last five years.
