Dr. Weissman joins us from Mount Sinai Beth Israel and Downtown Hospital, bringing a wealth of experience in clinical care, education, and leadership. As Site Chair, he oversaw over 175 faculty and 100 medical residents and fellows, and he continues to drive excellence as an Adjunct Professor at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and co-chair of the Citywide Colorectal Cancer Control Coalition. Dr. Weissman’s impressive credentials include a degree in Economics from Harvard, a Medical Doctorate, and an MBA in Health Management from Tufts University. Car crashes are a leading cause of death for children. 🚗 Studies have shown that parents can be overconfident in their ability to select and install the right seats for their children; in fact, approximately half of all car seats are not correctly installed. We urge parents and caregivers to double-check and make sure their children are in the right seats and that the seats are installed correctly.
