We lead a state-wide effort to foster and grow the most promising and effective cancer-fighting efforts available to the people of Maine through a combination of grant-based financial support and coalition building. 100% of the funds we raise stay in Maine.

For Maine cancer patients, transportation and the costs associated with travel to cancer care can be a significant barrier, leading to preventable disparities in health status and disease outcomes. Maine Cancer Foundation and John T. Gorman Foundation recognize the important role transportation and lodging plays in helping cancer patients. MCF is now accepting applications for transportation and lodging services for Maine cancer patients to support this effort. More: https://lnkd.in/evKzTFj2

A total of $537,000 has been awarded to seven dedicated organizations in Maine to enhance the accessibility and quality of cancer screenings. Early detection through regular cancer screening is vital for effective treatment. These programs play an important role in improving patient outcomes and reducing the impact of cancer in our state.
