Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
About us
Each day Make-A-Wish® New Jersey creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses in the Garden State. We believe that a wish experience can be a game-changer. This one belief guides us in everything we do. It inspires us to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids we serve. Wishes have proven physical and emotional benefits that can give children with critical illnesses a higher chance of survival. And wishes not only help these children – they also have far-reaching, positive impacts on their families and communities.

Thank you to the Limo Association of New Jersey for hosting a great night of fun and networking this past May at II Tulipano in Cedar Grover. Together with their members, guests and sponsors, the event raised $7,500 for Make-A-Wish New Jersey! These funds will be used to grant the wish of a local child battling a critical illness. Thank you LANJ for your support and to Joe Gulino, Mike Rose and Barry Trabb for visiting us here at the Wishing Place!

It’s National Beach Day!! Shout out to all our Wish Kids who have declared their wish to visit a beach because like many of us, they know they will find peace and calm on those sandy shores, with crashing waves, and vibrant marine life. As summer winds down, grab your sunscreen, your beach towel, and your favorite beach read, and like our wish kids, head to the nearest beach to celebrate National Beach Day in style.

Last week, our dear friends Fedway Associates hosted their first charity softball tournament, Summer Slam 2024, played at TD Bank Park, home of the @Somerset Patriots. Three teams battled it out while raising funds for Make-A-Wish New Jersey and the wish kids & families we serve. $6,000 was donated to help move our mission forward. Thank you Fedway Associates for your continued and unwavering support year round!

Every year, Big I New Jersey presents Make-A-Wish New Jersey with a donation to help us move our mission forward to make wishes come true for children battling critical illnesses right here in New Jersey. This year’s golf outing raised $29,000 and the Big I NJ Board of Directors presented our team this generous donation at a recent board meeting. Thank you to Michael Razze and Maria Keegan and the entire Board for your continued support and dedication!

Thomas had a special wish to have a St. Bernard. We made his wish come true by delivering the puppy to his mom who surprised Thomas at the hospital with his new puppy. Thomas was feeling well enough to leave his hospital room, and his family enjoyed a lovely time outside with pizza and playing with their new friend. On this National Dog Day, we are sending some joy to Thomas and to “Hunter” - his new puppy!
