🌟WISH GRANTED!🌟 Ollie set sail on an incredibly magical wish when he boarded an Alaskan cruise with his family this summer. 🛳️🌊 He was the true VIP on the ship as the crew invited him to the main deck to watch as they raised a special “Wishes of the Sea” flag just for him that flew the entire cruise. Ollie’s wish was filled with adventure including an all-access tour with a chance to meet the captain, seats to a show with a special visit with the cast, a fascinating train ride in Skagway, family photoshoot and more! His mom, Rebecca, said it was incredible to watch him take flight during an indoor skydiving session. She recently retired and wanted to give back to her community – so she became a volunteer wish granter! 🙌 Erinn says it’s incredible to see how much effort and thought are put into making a wish special and unique to each child. She also thinks is so important to realize a wish is not only for the wish kid, but their siblings and family too. Erinn says it’s tough to describe what it feels like to help grant a wish. “I feel many emotions after volunteering. ⭐️WISH ALUM SPOTLIGHT⭐️ “I want to help other children with cancer.” That’s why Asher said he shares his story. 💙 The 4-year-old from Hillsboro wished to hug Mickey Mouse in 2023. After his cancer diagnosis, watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse helped him through some of the hardest times of chemotherapy. The moment he hugged Minnie & Mickey, his parents say they felt like there would be an end to treatment and Asher would be like other children again. “A wish is like the light at the end of a foggy tunnel. It clears the fog and the exit becomes clear. We just need to keep walking.” This summer, Asher finished his final chemo treatment and had a big celebration with family and friends. He also graduated preschool and has been enjoying a lot of family time this summer! 🙌🎉 Asher and his family want other wish kids to feel loved and know they have a lot of people cheering and praying for them. Wish Kid Idsari is off to meet Mickey and Minnie after a fun send-off party at Buffalo Wild Wings! 😎 This 6-year-old is ready for fun and said she’s been dreaming about Disney. ⚽️MAGIC MATCH!⚽️ We’re reflecting on Edson’s special wish experience after he was treated like a true MVP with the Portland Timbers.✨ Edson’s passion is soccer. He started playing at just 7-years-old. Last year he moved to Eugene from Guatemala and after a few weeks in Oregon, doctors discovered he had end stage kidney disease. Being sick has prevented him from playing soccer, but his wish gave him the opportunity to return to the field. “It has been really exciting,” Edson said. The teen took in Soccer City with an exclusive visit to the Timbers training facility during practice, then took the field to welcome each player during the Leauges Cup match against Club Leon. Edson was a special part of the match from start to finish and capped off the night with a Timbers win! 🙌 Thank you to the Timbers for making Edson’s wish come true and a special thanks to Fanatics for making sports wishes like this possible. 💚💛 As he continues his journey to get on the transplant list, Edson says, “I’m not going to stay still or get sad just because of an illness. Make-A-Wish is amazing!”⭐️ When he was first introduced to Make-A-Wish while battling a respiratory disorder, Quinn was hesitant about getting a wish. The local teen felt like other children should receive one instead. His support team made sure he knew all eligible children receive a wish and encouraged him to start dreaming. ✨ Those dreams opened the door for an incredible opportunity, when his wish granters helped him realize he could have the experience of a lifetime by enjoying summer in NYC! 🌆 Quinn and his family had a magical trip where they saw Broadway shows, explored museums, and ate delicious food. 🎭🏢🍽️ Quinn says the trip was truly unforgettable. “I am so glad for the opportunity to do more than I could have imagined, whether that be shows or museums or tours.
