To tackle high grocery prices, a bipartisan group of lawmakers has introduced the Lower Grocery Prices Act. This bill, backed by Representatives Marc Molinaro, Pat Ryan, Juan Ciscomani, and Don Davis, aims to address the cost of living crisis by analyzing grocery prices over the past 20 years and developing a national plan to combat inflation. Representative Ryan said, “Ahead of July 4th, as we all gather for barbecues, beers, and parades, I’m taking direct action to bring down costs and deliver relief.” Molinaro added, “As Upstate New Yorkers are stocking up on groceries for July 4th, it's hard to ignore the skyrocketing prices.” While past reports blame supply chain issues for price hikes, the new bill seeks more direct action. As grocery prices continue to climb, this act could be the first step towards relief for consumers. But little did we know that we were witnessing the early steps of an Olympic champion in the making. Today, we're bursting with pride as we celebrate Morgan's incredible journey from our offices in Boulder, Colorado, to the world stage of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
