About us

In political campaigns, you can sell BS, or you can sell authenticity. You can build a campaign with no heart because it polls well, or you can build a resilient, unstoppable campaign, able to weather anything in service to your message. I founded Malbert Media because, after 20 years in direct mail and political marketing, I had had enough of campaigns and candidates who refuse to stand for anything. As CEO of Malbert Media, passion is a prerequisite for any team hire. Creativity is embraced and encouraged. Everyone has access to me, and everyone, from interns to the finance team, has a voice. We don’t just want our clients to win—we want them to be proud of their campaign, and we want them to run the most compelling, authentic, and unstoppable campaign they possibly can. Direct mail remains an essential part of a modern political campaign, especially as more people vote by mail. Mail also maintains a unique role—something you can bring to your polling place—in an era where we are all overwhelmed with fleeting digital content. In practice, especially for smaller campaigns, direct mail can be a logistical nightmare, with endless landmines keeping you from effective communication. We’ve got you covered there, with decades and decades of collective experience, and deep, years-long relationships with post offices and printers. You don’t need a firm for when things go right, you need a firm who knows what to do if the mail house floods during a hurricane. Every office seeker invests in a campaign team, all in the hope of building a winning campaign. But how do you want to win?     Many of us hoped for a different outcome in the Presidential election this year – there’s no doubt that Democrats suffered a considerable blow. In the wake of these results, it’s essential to look towards the protections we upheld and the changes made in the face of national trends. Last night, we saw history being made when Sarah McBride, our first openly trans member of Congress. In Washington State, we elected Emily Randall; in Texas, we elected Julie Johnson. Queer women won from coast to coast. Working with Equality PAC, we upheld the rights of LGBTQ+ members of Congress across the country. Rep. Ritchie Torres, Rep. Mark Takano, Rep. Becca Balint, Rep. Angie Craig, and Rep. Chris Pappas stood firm. He will return to Washington to fight for fairness, equality, and protecting the vulnerable. We’re still waiting to hear about other folks who can help us take the majority in the House, like Will Rollins. The work Democrats have done this cycle was authentic and compelling. While the change we hoped for may take longer than we had initially expected – we have experienced extraordinary unity and optimism for the future of America. This is the foundation from which we build on that vision. In the coming months, remember the value of the communities you have built and how powerful our voices are when we come together. We’re proud of our work for our clients this cycle and will continue to uplift the voices of those who will fight for these same values. It's what makes us unstoppable–KEEP GOING.

    🗳️One of the best sources for best practices on voter registration out with some impactful and compelling messaging on how to register pivotal voters who are feeling left out 🗳️ But Tom Lopach, head of the The Voter Participation Center, said this hard-to-move group can be swayed by bridging the information gap — and giving them “permission” to not know everything about voting. In some of last year’s elections, the group tested language saying, “You don't have to be a physician to remove a splinter, and you don't have to know everything about the government to be a voter,” which Lopach said was successful. “If you feel like you don't have the information to vote, that can heighten your sense of things being unfair,” he said. “And if you don't feel fully engaged with or understanding of politics, government or elections, it can heighten your sense that you don't want to be a part of it.” https://lnkd.in/e4eqx2pv
