Headed to #CMWorld? Maybe we'll see you there!

View profile for Mark Kats, graphic

SVP, Head of Client Services & Growth @ Manifest

Nice to see content getting its moment in the sun this year ☀️ I'm looking forward to reuniting with too many #CMWorld alums to name and celebrating another Agency of the Year win with my colleagues in San Diego. If you're going, don't miss Melissa Bouma and Sacha Reeb's session on cultivating a culture of creativity at Manifest and how a creative-led content agency can transform brands. Congrats to the winners and cheers to all the attendees. Insert Ron Burgundy joke here... see you in Cali 🌴🏖️

Fiserv forum was a blast! 🤞See you next year? #FiservForum2024

This was my first #FiservForum2024 experience and I have to say, I was blown away. I grew up the son of a banker (Hi, mom Clarice Ribeiro) but having the opportunity to immerse myself in a room with some of the best thinkers, leaders and innovators in finance gave me a whole new perspective on the field. It was truly inspiring and invigorating. But it wasn't all work and no play: My Manifest colleagues caught a scintillating Vegas show that will be virtual water cooler fodder for quite some time (thanks Eva Heinzen and Christine Caridi 😆 ). I felt serious Maryland pride as Olympic champion Michael Phelps reflected on his personal growth and journey. I soaked in all of the sugar-and-spice storytelling from the inimitable Tabitha Brown. And I felt affirmed in my belief that we journalists emerge from the profession with super powers that make us capable of doing anything we put our mind too thanks to Katie Couric's fireside chat where she talked about her professional journey from Arlington, VA, to the Today Show, her fumbles at CBS News, to the launch of her podcast and her cancer advocacy work. I saw some serious #PowerMoves that I am taking to heart. Thank you, Fiserv, for an incredible event!

Uh-oh, we're about to get cheesy. 🧀 When you love what you do, you might still end up working every day. 😒 But when you love WHO you do it for, things are very different. Thank you to Content Marketing Institute Awards for naming us Agency of the Year this year! Though we're no strangers to the winners podium (3 time champs 🏆) it is always an honor to be there. Above all, we want to thank our clients, who bring us the greatest stories to tell. Because of them, we've become experts in cybersecurity, sustainability, cottage cheese, and more. Next year, let's do it again! Manifesters, shout out someone you love working with in the comments!

When it comes to creativity, we always stand on business. 💼 Congratulations to all the winners of the Content Marketing Institute Awards, including our very own National Bleeding Disorders Foundation team, which won for Best Use of Photography! 📸 We asked creative giant John Lanuza how the team makes its creative vision a reality: “Our team believes in capturing an authentic moment. We don’t rely on Photoshop to bring an idea to life, we just use the inspiration we find in the frame.” We had more finalists as well! Check out what we submitted and get inspired. 💡 https://lnkd.in/dkjE8Hhr

Creative Director Thomas Scaglione is known around the office for many things: his laughter, his love of food and wine, and his ability to prolong any conversation (we love you, Thomas). But just like he describes his creative hero, Steve Martin, Thomas is first and foremost a gifted writer. While Martin is largely known for his comedy, it’s his written word that Thomas finds most interesting. Well, that and his relentless curiosity. And his ability to reinvent. And also — OK, OK, just read on for more. https://lnkd.in/gynPEUKi

When asked about his creative hero, Jerry Garcia, Associate Performance Marketing Director Nicholas Wineland says, “He’s just an interesting guy in so many ways.” And you could certainly say the same about Nick, whose favorite recent SEO discovery is that more people search for “Why do we have butts?” than “Why do we get sick?” Learn how Garcia’s music and career have made an impression on this keyword-searching Deadhead. https://lnkd.in/g4padAPn
