Scratch-made comfort food, with a modern twist.

About us

Maple Street Biscuit Company was started by Scott Moore and Gus Evans in Jacksonville, Florida. We opened our doors on November 8, 2012 to a community with open arms and hungry tummies. Maple Street wasn't just out to make a profit. We were out to make a difference and be a part of the community. Walking into every Maple Street, you should be walking into a culture created around the idea of just that. You’ll notice a lot of community style seating for you to meet your neighbor or if you’re visiting, meeting the locals. Maple Street also operates on four guiding principles: - Comfort Food with a Modern Twist Made Consistently - Gracious Service - Immaculately Clean Stores - Be a Sustainable Business With those principles, we craft good food from great products. It’s not just about a flaky buttermilk biscuit, it’s what you put inside of it. Using quality ingredients, making them in house, and serving up some of the best roasted coffee Maple Street will turn you into a regular. Contact us at info@maplestreetbiscuits.com

Updates

  • August is Month of Good. We're using this time, not just to give back to our local communities with cookie sales, school supplies, and extra time serving organizations around us who need an extra hand. 🤝 We're speaking through our ☕ coffee, with the help of our coffee partners, Muletown Coffee Roasters, and their Heart & Harvest program. Through Heart & Harvest, they ensure the small community growers they work with receive a fair price for their product. A portion of sales from Maple Street's Goodness, Gracious blend, which was sourced through the Heart & Harvest program, go to charities in our local communities. To support these communities near and far, visit the link in our bio to grab yourself a bag (or two, or three) of the limited-time Goodness, Gracious blend. You can also give it a try in your local Maple Street Community Store, where we'll be brewing it all month long.

  • Ryan Weir was a beloved team member at our Murray Hill Community Store in Jacksonville, Florida. Known for his fun personality and a love of silly socks, Ryan quickly became an integral part of the Murray Hill's Maple Street Community. In 2019, a car accident left Ryan on life support. When the incredibly difficult choice was made to remove him from life support, Ryan's parents agreed to honor his wish to be an organ donor. 300 people attended his honor walk as doctors led him to the operating room. Ryan's final gift impacted the lives of numerous people, and we continue to share his legacy. Through the month of August, Maple Street's Month of Good, we are selling Maple Street Silly Socks to honor Ryan and benefit organ donation. Visit our website to purchase Maple Street Silly Socks and support organ donation and learn more about Month of Good.
