Last week, I had the privilege of attending the Marathon Health Engage “Sparking Transformation” conference in Orlando. I’m still reflecting on the energy, the meaningful connections, and sessions that truly “sparked” my brain. Dan Harris’ keynote on mental health, stress, and meditation related to me both personally and professionally. From client panelists to breakout discussions and evening events, every moment was engaging and insightful. One key takeaway that stood out: the impact of Marathon Health’s partnership model. Not only does it help reduce turnover, but it also ensures employees have access to high-quality healthcare without feeling rushed through their appointments. In many rural communities, healthcare access is limited, but Marathon Health bridges that gap with both physical locations and virtual care options. This is the work event I look forward to more than any other event the entire year. We get to spend a few deeply meaningful days with our clients -- learning together, getting inspired together, reconnecting or connecting for the first time, laughing...and yes, sometimes crying. Incredible experience at Marathon Health Engage. Hearing stories of disrupting traditional healthcare and the impact clinicians are making across the country to improve people’s lives is motivational and refreshing. Always invigorating to be a part of and know the impact we are making to improve mental health and reduce stigma. Highlight by far was having the opportunity to be onstage with Dan Harris, writer of 10% Happier, and hear his insights and words of wisdom. “When you have one foot in the future and the other in the past, you piss on the present.”

I had the great pleasure of attending Marathon Health’s 2025 Engage Event. Alongside Danielle Goldberg we loved learning new strategies, learning what companies similar to our clients are implementing for their employees, and meeting tons of new people! What does it take to host a Marathon Health Engage event? 🗓️ Weeks of meetings and careful planning. 🚛 Several days of setup and preparation. 🏃🏼♀️ 57,833 total steps/22.37 miles of walking on my part alone to execute. 🫶🏼 One incredible team to help make it all possible. I had the privilege of spending the past three days at the Marathon Health 2025 Engage Forum in Orlando, FL, connecting with fellow clients and Marathon teammates. This was my third Engage, and it never fails to be an incredible experience filled with insightful conversations and great company. A highlight of the event was hearing an inspiring presentation from Dan Harris and receiving a signed copy of his book, 10% Happier. Grateful for the opportunity to learn, connect, and grow with such an amazing group!
