Mental Illness Awareness Week: Oct 6-12, 2024! At Marin Community Clinics, we believe it’s time to break the silence surrounding mental health in the workplace. While 74% of full-time employees in the U.S. say it’s appropriate to discuss mental health concerns at work, only 58% feel comfortable doing so. This hesitation can lead to serious challenges, including burnout. Here are some key facts: 👉 1 in 3 workers report their mental health has suffered due to work in the past year. 👉 Burnout is especially common among women, young workers, and mid-level employees. 👉 Employees who feel uncomfortable discussing mental health at work are more likely to experience burnout. This week, let’s encourage open conversations about mental health in the workplace, offer support to one another, and advocate for better mental health resources. If you or someone you know is struggling, don’t hesitate to reach out for help. Visit nami.org for information, support, and guidance on how to navigate this challenging journey 💙 Together, we can create a healthier workplace. #MentalIllnessAwarenessWeek #MentalHealthMatters #EndTheStigma #WorkplaceWellness #MarinCommunityClinics
