This was 9-month journey, spearheaded by the Soundings Trade Only Group and included a coalition of key marine industry associations, companies and industry leaders. It is the first time that a global coalition has asked the workers – what attracted them to their job, why would they stay, why would they leave and what do they want out of their careers. More than 700 marine professionals from across the globe completed the 32-question survey, and we facilitated focus groups to dive deeper into key themes of the data.
