About us
Formed in 1946, the Marines' Memorial Association exists as a tribute to those who have gone before, and to provide a service to those who carry on. The flagship is the Marines’ Memorial Club & Hotel in downtown San Francisco, where members, their guests and families can meet and gather in continuation of the tradition. A unique establishment, the Marines’ Memorial is much more than a club and hotel. The Association’s mission is to maintain a living memorial honoring veterans of all branches of the United States Armed Forces; to educate and perpetuate their achievements and sacrifices, and to provide aid and assistance to the currently serving. The hidden gem of San Francisco, our California Spanish Revival building with its well-known blue awning, welcomes guests from around the world. Conveniently located just steps away from Union Square near San Francisco's famous shopping, dining and entertainment venues and one block from the Powell Street Cable Car line, we offer members and guests 136 hotel rooms including 13 suites and over 13,000 square feet of elegant event space spanning two floors. High ceilings, large windows and unique décor combined with impeccable service from our Banquets team make this San Francisco venue ideal for corporate and association meetings, weddings, reunions, and social events. The Marines' Memorial Theatre, seating 564, is available for keynote presentations, performances and other events. Chesty’s Bar & Grill on our 12th floor offers stunning views of San Francisco.

Come join us on Thursday, October 17th for our continuation of our Meet the Author series with Andrew Biggio. For 🎫click the link below. Biggio saw the urgency to honor and learn from the rapidly dwindling population of WWII veterans. In his research, he explores WWII veterans’ methods of living a successful life after combat, and passes it on to today's veterans. This sparked a three-year journey; and over two hundred veterans’ stories later, Biggio was fortunate to publish a written account of the experience, called "The Rifle." https://lnkd.in/e7B4N2Zs #MarinesMemorial #SpeakerSeries #MeetTheAuthor #TheRifle #WWII

Check it out! He's coming to the Marines' Memorial Club & Hotel. Bring your biggest watch and strap in for some of Isaac "Whiskey" Lee's best sea stories!
Hangar 4 received a great review on The Cipher Brief. When I decided to share this story, it was important to me to do it in a very candid way. It is nice to see that it has been well received thus far. (Link below) https://lnkd.in/gBv8DjyB "That is why readers will find this book so refreshing. Isaac Lee has crafted this work so that it reads like a novel, and again, to reference Ian Fleming, you have to turn the page to see what is going to happen next." "Another distinguishing feature of this book is that the author candidly reveals the often extraordinary difficulty of balancing one’s personal and professional life. This is a gift to all of us, because too many memoirs of former military people only address professional side and are often filled with little more than kinetics. This is not the case with this book."
