Join us in welcoming Kori Levy our newest Exhibit Sales Consultant with Master Promotions, a division of Marketplace Events. Kori will be bringing her vast experience to work on the Halifax & Moncton RV Shows, Halifax International Boat Show, Ottawa Boat Show, Motorcycle & Powersports Atlantic, and the Moncton Boat & Sportsmen Show. A Nova Scotia native, Kori has an impressive background in trade shows across Canada, where she's sold everything from women's fitness memberships to luxury retirement living, equine first aid courses, professional fireworks, and wild blueberry ice wine! She's collaborated with companies at renowned events like the Calgary Stampede, Home Hardware Dealer Markets, and various other shows across the country. Her love of kale keeps her energy up for events and when she isn't on the trade show floor (or planning for the trade show floor!), she stays energized through aquafit, spin, hiking, and paddleboarding. We are delighted to announce that Marguerite (Magui) Letendre has joined Master Promotions, a division of Marketplace Events as an Exhibit Sales Consultant. Magui brings over 20 years of experience in customer service, with a strong background in sales and management. Her career has been shaped by roles that allowed her to connect with people and deliver exceptional client experiences. Magui studied hotel management at ITHQ and spent a decade planning and organizing weddings, conferences, office parties, and corporate events. This experience honed her skills in client service, organization, and sales, while also nurturing her ability to listen and understand clients’ needs. Outside of work, Magui has a passion for hunting, fishing, and kayaking, which perfectly aligns with our outdoor-focused events. In her new role, she looks forward to building lasting relationships with our exhibitors and outdoor enthusiasts, ensuring they achieve their goals and create memorable experiences at every event. We are happy to welcome Adam Paralovos, our new Web + Digital Manager. Joining us from the United Way Greater Toronto, where Adam’s position as web manager built and optimized a peer-to-peer fundraising website for the CN Tower Climb. With a rich history in graphic design and digital media, Adam’s philanthropic nature also meant working in the past as the web and graphic design coordinator at the Daily Bread Food Bank. With an “if you dream it, you can do it.” attitude, Adam’s personal interest and love of Disney resulted in the website TwoLittleSparks.com, a SEO-optimized travel blog. A graduate of Guelph-Humber University, Adam holds an honours bachelor in applied arts in media studies and a diploma in media communications with an emphasis in digital. We can’t wait for all the excellent ideas to be shared during our website upgrade and are excited to have Adam join our team!

Meet our latest new hire Anastasia Smallwood, a talented events professional originally from Quispamsis, NB, with experience spanning the Atlantic provinces. Anastasia joins Master Promotions, a division of Marketplace Events. Now calling Windsor, NS home, Anastasia is all about crafting unforgettable experiences—from music festivals to corporate events. She excels at building strong partnerships, branding, and creating those wow-worthy moments that make events shine. Outside of work, you’ll find her enjoying dog sports with her two-year-old Golden Retriever, Mack, and getting ready to move into her first home with her partner, Peter. Welcome to MPE, Anastasia! 

Exciting news! We're thrilled to welcome Chris Hatt to Master Promotions, a division of Marketplace Events as our new Digital Marketing Coordinator. Chris brings a wealth of marketing expertise and creative strategies from his previous roles, and we're excited to see the impact he'll make. A Saint Mary’s University graduate, Chris is passionate about outdoor adventures, surfing year-round, biking, and spending quality time with his dog, family, and friends. Welcome aboard, Chris!

A big warm welcome to Sally Greer, Exhibit Sales Consultant joining our Houston Home Show Team! With twenty years of experience in the automotive industry, Sally is a seasoned sales professional. From our first conversation with her, we were struck by her positive outlook and engagement. Here are a few fun facts about Sally: Her nickname is Mustang 🐎 She loves power tools 🔧 She has a cocktail named after her 🍸 She's the proud grandmother of ten! 👶 Welcome, Sally! New week, new face! Introducing our newest team member Cara Braithwaite, Show Coordinator for all three Kansas City Shows and the Des Moines Home + Garden Show. Cara impressed us during the 2023/2024 show season, where she excelled as temporary help in our show office. We knew from the first moment we met her, she was the perfect fit for Marketplace Events. Currently completing her degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Cara brings a wealth of event experience. She previously served as the event coordinator for Smithville Main Street District, where she played a key role in enhancing the downtown image and boosting pedestrian traffic. Welcome to MPE Cara, we’re confident you’ll achieve great things with us!

Marketplace Events is thrilled to announce the return of Zoe Watters as the Show Coordinator for the three Calgary Home Shows! Zoe has boomeranged back to us (safely!) with a wealth of experience and fresh perspectives. Zoe's journey with us began as a temp employee working on the Vancouver Home Shows, where her dedication and passion quickly propelled her into the role of Show | Office Administrator. Despite enduring a long and occasionally eventful commute, Zoe's infectious smile and knack for storytelling brightened our days. Good news, Zoe, we all work from home now! Throughout her tenure, Zoe has worked with multiple show teams across the Kivett Region, from Vancouver to Winnipeg and even the Arizona Wedding Shows. Her commitment to exhibitor and attendee satisfaction was second to none. Join the Calgary team in extending the warmest of welcomes back to Zoe. We're very pleased to have her back in the fold, and we can't wait to tackle the next show season with her!

Gianna Grisolia, Show Coordinator….joins Marketplace Events! Gianna joins our Salt Lake City and Denver show teams with 10 years of extensive experience in events. On a personal note, she’s becoming an aunt this year, has a small family that moved from Spain/Sicily originally and shares a home with her amazing partner Ryan. She’s a ‘aqua-fish’ – a nick name given to her by family – because she absolutely loves anything to do with the ocean and swimming. She also loves to go on motorcycle rides to listen to music and decompress and grows probably the biggest sunflowers you’ve ever seen. Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Gianna!
