Happy National Senior Citizen Day! 🎉 Today, we celebrate our incredible seniors who are changing the way we view old age by serving as points of light in our community, sharing their wealth of knowledge and experience, and enriching our lives with love and wisdom. We are honored to have remarkable residents like Dr. Malak Kolob, who has led groundbreaking research in systems biology and immunology. Her collaborations with physicians worldwide and leadership roles in numerous grant review panels and NIH study sections have significantly advanced medical science. Our talented resident CR Hoffman has filled our halls with music and joy, having played in various bands throughout his life and even auditioning for the legendary Beastie Boys. His passion for music continues to inspire us all. We're also proud to have Robert Strand, the former head of NASA’s GPS program, who played a crucial role in the success of the Apollo missions. His contributions have left an indelible mark on space exploration and technology. Today and every day, we celebrate our seniors' extraordinary achievements and the lasting impact they've made on our community and the world. This week we made a donation of approximately $5,000 worth of food products to Family Promise of Brevard. This incredible organization is committed to helping every child in the community, regardless of their zip code, have a safe home and a brighter future.
